Our Philosophy
With a strong legacy spanning nearly 40 years, Chabad of Sandton celebrates childhood, inspiring, guiding and nurturing all students to reach their full potential through structured and unstructured play.
A child’s social emotional development forms the foundation for all learning. We consistently create an ideal environment to support this process. We focus on building strong, positive relationships to help the students build trust, form friendships, give them a sense of comfort and safety which enables them to deal with challenges. We also ensure that the students are stimulated, curious and motivated to learn about the wonderful world around them.
We evoke a strong sense of community and through specialised themed classes we integrate learning with a love of our Jewish heritage.
Our Team
Our dedicated team of teachers and assistants are experts in early childhood development with a wealth of experience in nurturing their student’s social emotional development and a love of learning. This fosters an energetic environment in which children thrive.
Our Offering
Chabad of Sandton’s beautiful, safe campus offers a host of outdoor playground equipment as well as classrooms encompassing everything the students can imagine to fill their school day with adventure, exploration and creative learning.
The school day runs from 8am to 12:30pm with early care and after care programmes available.
Activities weaved into the weekly curriculum include the Little Champs programme and Music. These ensure an all-rounded exposure to essential parts of early childhood development.
We have partnered with numerous external businesses who provide a variety of extra mural activities that support the physical, cognitive and social development that we passionately encourage during the school day. These all take place straight after school between 12:30pm and 1:00pm.
We have preferred OT, speech and physiotherapy therapists with whom we work closely to ensure your child receives the necessary support within their school day. We pride ourselves on our fully equipped therapy room that offers all the best equipment fit for purpose.
