Pesach prep time

We were treated to an interactive Pesach show this week. The kids watched as the whole story came alive with highlights that they have been learning about over the past few weeks. Shows like this awaken all the kids’ senses and are a welcome treat near the end of this long first term.

Today we all baked Challah and we will make Matzah on Monday showing our students the differences between Chametz and Matzah. During these activities we focus on integrating the Pesach story with encouraging the concept of comparison, sensory perception, fine motors skills and counting (early maths skills).

We will be hosting a mock Seder on Wednesday. The kids love the Seder as it gives them a strong sense of community and belonging which boosts their social-emotional development, self-esteem and love of our Jewish heritage.
